Connecting enthusiastic people with winning opportunities is one of Bobby Genovese’s greatest talents and passions, which began at age 25 when he founded his first company in his native Ontario before establishing BG Capital Group based in the Bahamas, with associate management offices in Fort Lauderdale, Los Angeles, Barbados, Toronto and Vancouver.

His talent for finding and growing businesses to unparalleled success continues. Among Genovese’s numerous successes he developed and grew the Neptune Society into one of North America’s largest cremation companies. He also purchased and helped grow Masa Global into one of one of North America’s largest air ambulance companies, which was sold in January 2020.

Genovese brought his winning touch in the boardroom to the polo field when he built Vancouver International Polo, one of North America’s top ranked teams. He and the team went on to win the Canadian Open and numerous American, Argentinean and Chilean tournaments in the years that followed.

Genovese next created BG Signature to represent and oversee his portfolio of private estates, yachts and equestrian centers located throughout the world, including his flagship BG Ocala Ranch. Today the collection has expanded to include his passion for land preservation with a variety of outdoor wildlife and recreation venues, facilities and restaurants, which are all managed and operated under the BG Signature umbrella.

As past chairman of the annual Car and Boat Rally Scavenger Cups, he has helped raise funds for Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children, Canada’s largest and most sophisticated center for pediatric cancer research, treatment and care.

He has also regularly supported the Face The World Foundation, a nonprofit educational and cultural exchange organization.
