Evertrue Capital $17 million debut fund.

British investor Yvonne Bajela has closed a $17 million debut fund after spending more than a decade backing technology founders through established investment firms.
Her record includes investments in Wise, Marshmallow and Moove, which later reached unicorn valuations. She began her career at Goldman Sachs and subsequently held investment roles at Mitsui, Impact X Capital and LocalGlobe.
Evertrue Capital will invest in early-stage companies across the UK and Europe, primarily in AI and fintech. The firm has already backed seven businesses and expects to invest approximately £350,000 in each new company.
Bajela originally sought approximately $13 million. Despite receiving more investor interest than the fund could accommodate, she capped it at $17 million, arguing that fund size should reflect the investment strategy rather than become a measure of success.
Its institutional backers include the British Business Bank, Phoenix Court’s Basecamp, Better Society Capital, Bootstrap 4F and Allocator One.
